Hello guys, do you know how to disable the O2 sensors in MS41.0 without having a DTC? If the DME has a lambda DTC (unplugged), does it read another map than the main fuel map ? Thanks for your help.

Yes, I've already made my tune with the O2 sensors unplugged but I had a DTC obviously and my question is does it matter or not ? I would like to disable O2 feedback (no DTC, not just unplug them) because I don't know if it changes something with the DTC in it when tuning.

Either post your file or post a stock version of your file and so that it can be determined which byte disables your PRIMARY o2 sensor(s).

Okay, this is the stock file from my M52b28. Thank you.

Hey guys, I will try soon as possible to disable the byte that Busterhax told me but I still have another question. On my bin, the Byte 6 has been disabled, it has "FF" instead of "1C" (stock), I guess it was for the secondary O2 sensors (US cars), am I right ? Do you guys know the bits (bit 1,2,3,4.....=0 =1 ???) in Byte 6 ? Thanks

At no point did my XML definitions every populate that byte with FF. Who knows what else is screwed up. See the other thread just I just locked due to data corruption of the hex because they didn't use RomRaider.

I didn't changed this in my tune, it was in a chiped DME that I bought and I'm trying to understand all the controls bits in this area. Byte 6 and 7 has been disabled, FF's, and I'd like to know why, do you guys know something about this ?
Edit : Yep, about the other thread you locked, i agree, but I always use RR to define my maps, and I use wols to see how a bin file is made, look for adress and stuff...
