First of all I would like to thank everyone in here because time spent to learn about ecu tuning was very informative and joyful!!!!
Let’s get to the subject.. Started with a simple partial read then open image in romraider only to find out that i needed a def file… downloaded and loaded the def file into romraider and then it said that they didn’t match????   So I tried to find a partial file from the forums and actually found one that did work properly with the def file, so I customized to my needs and flashed it into my car!!! Operation successfull !! Started the car no issues only to find that the car was working with the old parameters (rev limiter 6.5rpms)
Did a second try again successfull write onto the ecu.., started the car and the car still wasn’t working on new file… What could make that happen? How can i fix it? And why my car file isn’t cooperating with def file???
Ecu is Siemens MS41.0 index 11 1429861 5wk9 0322

What tables did you change for the limiter? Some cars might not move the limiter if you don't modify the "Engine Speed Limiter (VSS Error)" table, if you haven't done it, change that to the RPM to be same as "Engine Speed Limiter (Hard Limiter)" and try it again.

never done this and a stupid question:

partial from a different ecu working on a different ecu ?

always using the partial from my ecu and work on that.

read the flashed partial and compare it.

sorry for my english (google translator). Did you connect +12 volts to pin 18 of the diagnostic connector? blue-green wire as I remember ... Without additional power, the bin file is read, but not written back. Only when connected to 12 volts.
