I'm new to the MS42 tuning, and I'm trying to create pops and bangs from the screens that were published in this topic. I have the latest (0.42) MS42 ECU definition and tables Ignition Part load RON 98 and Ignition advance optimal warm engine don't look the same as in the screenshots. Both tables don't have columns with value 33 on the top and then they have different steps between columns. I don't know if this would make big change in the final result of the pop and bang effect. Maybe I have bad configuration in my rom raider. Could you share with me what version of ECU definition to accomplish this effect ? hello this map is good for 2.3i ms42?? , i make this maps to my 2.8i m52b28tu ms42 and popcorn is very good thanks, but i have other car in 2.3i, this values use is for 2.3i m52b25tu ? or no?

Now to my 1st question: why are your values ​​on the table different from mine, for you the value starts at 33 and for me only from 50? Hi i try yo do pop bang and up rev limit ro 7000 , the car is automatic transmision and the rpm works 7000 only Whith the car stoped, whith Neutral. Pop Dont work this is the changes , can somebody help me what i need ro do.

If i want to make less pops without huge flame bangs - do i need to just apply higher values? For example change -19 to -10 or -5? And make fuel restore to default values?

Dont raise the RPM Limit on Auto Transmission it will Destroy it.

Will not directly destroy it but you damage it and it "knock" while shifting.

Because you have different load and rpm axis. Depends on engine and software version, you can change your load axis. But its not nessacery on a stock engine

So I followed your Romraider lay out and it was great for POP & bang fun, buuut that's not why I reach out. I have a 99 323i ms42 5speed Cold air intake, Corsa full exhuast no headers and pulley system. I have had this car now almost 2 months. the guy previous said it had a tune on it, I don't necessarily believe him you will see why ahead . I have this car now for 2 months and put my hands on plenty before playing with the tune (Until i felt in a good spot to play with before i blow it up lol). A few things I noticed when Pop bang is on ( I set up to go when AC is on its winter now so not often)I have more Juice noticeable!!! At first I was talking with a more experienced fellow and he said probably due to enrichment it was quicker to power on throttle because fuel was there already to go. At first I thought OK that makes sense, but then I realized because I was goofing around I left on Pop when I turned off car. Next day I turned on car It was ready to go it wasn't until it hit temp (First pop) did I realize it was on, but from dead stop it definitely had more power. My question (I am inexperienced in tuning yet very mechanically inclined) What part of the mapping would cause this or would you focus on to hone in on possibly taking more advantage of if possible or putting norm with no pop and bang? Some more background is i have a 3.91 Diff I city drive it and 50-50 norm to spirited not tire squealing or burning out. I like to be slap back in my seat on shifts. The high torque helps me feel like I'm speeding but not so I avoid tickets. Its a mental illusion for my pleasure.lol..

Hard to believe that it is linked to the fact that the engine makes more power with AC on.
maybe look into things related to throttle response that may be altered from AC on, even though it feels not certain to me.
