Hello Everyone,

this is my first post, and I have started playing with my MS42 just recently. I have red a lot in this and other forums about different optimization for the MS42 and I also found a lot of useful information in the MS43 wiki and MS43 forums about how they are attempting on M54B25 and M54B30.
I drive a E39 Euro M52B28TU man with following Mods:
* pre TU Headers
* self built Exhaust with Magnaflow Cat under the car
* deleted post Cat Lambdas (O2s)
* Bosch Performance Spark Plugs
* freshly regenerated Vanos (Beisan)

So I started analyzing the Vanos and Throttle Maps for better mid range Performance. :shock:

So firstly here are my Vanos Maps based on the Changes proposed in the MS43 Wiki (Of couse changed due to different cams and different timing Maps on MS42)
So I created two different Maps for Part Throttle one is "interpolated" and one is "normalized". So different approaches to make benefit of the changes on MS43 (for M54B30).
For Full Load Vanos Map I used the 2 Row from the right of the Tables, and obviously transformed it.

Don't hesitate to give Feedback. I'm a newbie and I always try to improve. Thanks :)

I may also publish my changed Throttle Map, but it is "under construction" because after a certain point its very light, but feels very responsive. :lol:

My Feedback from road testing:
The Car feels a lot more responsive and accelerates better. But I don't think that there is an improvement in either HP or Nm. Just a different feel of driving. Which I like a lot :)

Hello again,

today I did some logs. Logged MAF to Engine RPM in Full Load (Second and Thrid Gear)
The curve looks pretty clean unless the Drop at 4800 RPM.
I can't eyplain that jet, maybe just a Problem with the Log.
