MS42 does not have K Line wire??

Hello,

I found a pin out of the MS42 online and went through each of the wires on the different cables going into my MS42 ECU (this is for 2000 Z3 with M52TUB28 and manual transmission).

The pinout says that there should be a K-Line wire going into the ECU on one of the connectors, but there is none. There are numerous wires that are missing for lots of utilities because it is a Z3, so it is not as sophisticated as some other models that used the same ECU. But the missing K-line is really confusing to me. Can someone please explain this to me? Did BMW release any cars with MS42 that did not come with K-line accessible harness? Do I need to install one before I can tune the ECU?

X60001 pin 3 should be for a diagnostic cable. My car does not have this.
