Hello everyone,
First of all, I have a lot of respect for the people who hid this and put it on the internet. Enthusiasts can also practice their hobby in a different way.
I also have a question about this.
I have a 1999 323i sedan with manual transmission.
I have had the car for 3 years and am very satisfied. I have been driving BMW for 20 years.
I installed an m54b25 intake manifold last year and the consumption increased considerably and sometimes there was no real difference in horsepower increase. I also had an weird power decrease at 5500rpm. I now have all these things under control thanks to Romraider. Issues: 1 feel power decrease at 5500 rpm 2 very high fuel consumption 3 rich mixture. 4 no big difference between hp and before
Problem number 1 has been solved by adjusting the Disa map (must be open from 4100 rpm) I now understand that there is more power at high revs.
Problem number 2 has been solved. I have adjusted the fuel maps (set them leaner), tested and driven a lot. Exhaust gases measured. It's all good now.
Solved problem 3 by solving problem 2
Problem 4 I have all Vanos map, i have as many as possible copy the M54B25 map and advanced the ignition by 1 degree.
I have not yet been able to log the correct changes with romraider.
The car drives wonderfully and has noticeably more power. (I need to do a dyno.)
My question is.
Has anyone ever done this swap before and what is the experience?. Is there need to do more adjustmenst maybe on romraider? Can someone tell me please?

In my opinion, the problem must be mechanical, check the CCV and hoses.... Those sypmtoms are typical of CCV. I said it because I have changed my intake manifold (323i to M54b30 intake manifold) but I have not had these problems.
