Hi..

I tried to do this with Ms45 flasher every thing went successfully but then ECU status went to "Internal Reference Error -> Program" and was still carrying the original firmware.. and flasher program would not accept the tune file , so When i flashed ecu back to the stock image the ECU status went to 'Reserved For Manufacturer' so I sent the tune to it and then the ECU status went to 'Normal Operation' .. is what I am trying to do possible? the Architecture is Motorola MC5X on both ecus as i understand things my ECU is older so it might not even have RSA from what i can gather but no way to find out reliably it seems.

On the newer 18 ECU the Filename.dat is different not sure if that matters

If some one can help out with this we would be eternally grateful am fairly sure we should be allowed to upgrade this ecu to sw ver 19 at least with a regular EWS resync so not sure whats happening here .. I have INPA, Tool32, sx so i can find out any thing thats needed to fix the flasher software

But really what I want to achieve long term is get a EWS deleted why because its a 19 year old RACE car :roll: cant understand why the poor DIY MS45 community are being made to jump through such enormous hoops over this sort of nonsense where people are just literally extorting people for thousands of dollars/pounds over a EWS delete for a prehistoric car.

Sorry if i sound kind of ticked off but yeah i just didn't like the way that Ms43 owners are allowed to do what they want but Ms45 cant have a simple EWS delete with out some massive run around / Massive cost. so just looking out for you guys I have a tremendously joyace MS43 on my car which i can tell you brings me much warm feelings inside... but I should NOT have to advise to a Z4 owner to swap to Ms43.

The solutions was suppose to be bimmerlabs which no longers seems to work or respond to any help requests.. the MS4x wiki falls flat on its face for the MS45 DIY'er at the moment when bimmerlabs no longer works
