Multiple posts were becoming hard to manage for the ECU definitions that have been started so far. This topic will serve as the main discussion for any definitions. The definitions have been moved over to github so that anyone who wants to contribute can do so easily. Most recent defs can be found here https://github.com/a33b/NissanDefsmurph's original branch https://github.com/murphyslaw05/NissanDefs

Appreciate the efforts  . Slowly getting somewhere with a definition for a file I downloaded... I have to read one tomorrow to tune so will see if anything matches up. I could do with some .bins for the said definitions to study a little. Perhaps you have some that you could share?

Im trying to make a definition for 6Y314.bin.
I am learning slowly, but I am pretty sure the maps are in the same place as 6Y303. Just like fenugrec said in the stock rom thread.
I am comparing the two bins (6Y314 and 6Y303) in wols. I think if I can figure out the hwid and the checksum sumloc and xorloc I will have a working definition. Any hints?

Can someone check this? I can open 6Y314.bin in RR now with this definition I made.
I did not do the checksum yet.

looks OK but 6Y303 and 314 are code-identical so all that is required is to use 303 as a base def. I just pushed it to my repo, it should be merged in murph's soon ( https://github.com/murphyslaw05/NissanDefs/pull/14 )

I made a definition file for 6y303/6y314 that includes "Throttle open 2."
I modified the throttle maps on 6y314, checked it with the checksum tool and flashed it.
Seems to work. No CEL. Im going to test it some more.
Im not sure if it is necessary to add it to the repo, but if you do just check it first.

Can someone take a look at this def. I am not sure if I have set it up correctly Attachment: CD007.xml fixed the header, just needs the maps and checksum area added
