Request for definition file for:
Vehicle: 2006 Sentra SER Spec V/ 6MT/ Non-Nats
Engine: QR25DE
File was dumped using npk_SH7058, first key attempt failed, giving error SID27. Ran '"gk" command, nisprog 1.03 found key, re-ran kernel successfully, and initiated dump.

Figured out how to expand the map list, as well as a few DTC locations. Here's the improved definition file

Going off of the previous definitions I added in your torque demanded maps as well as your accel to throttle maps. (including the x and y-axis'.)

I greatly appreciate the help, also noticed the additional timing maps thank you!

Maybe you can help me with my current issue. I've been actively tuning my car for the past month, and recently noticed that my rev limiter changes don't seem to be going through. Through RomRaider's logger, and various Android OBD apps, vehicle keeps cutting the engine at 6250 RPM when I've set it to 6400, while the ROM itself states the fuel cut is at 6350 RPM stock. I've triple checked the values location across multiple ROMs, including its base (ZD89A), and cross referenced by adjusting the Rev Limit values to match the one in 8U92A, and 8U901. All the surrounding values seem to line up, even if address locations across ZG59B (my ROM) and the others are different. Is there some map I might missing that is causing the early cut?

you are checking that on idle? maybe No Load Rev Limit ?

It's possible that throttle cut is getting ya. I know it's very prominent in automatics but I do believe that it's still there for manuals.

No, this was during mutiple pulls in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Seeing how the base file that matches this ECU was an automatic Altima it might be a throttle cut like Pytrex mentioned. Even the author of the ZD89A definition mine is base off of had a note in it mentioning a cut.

You were right about the throttle cut. Talked to a friend who has access to Uprev. He stated that 06 was the first year to display said table for the Spec V Sentras. He suggested I datalog Accel voltage and throttle voltage just in case it's an Uprev thing, here's pic of said log.

Just tested the table out, you hit the nail on the head! How'd you manage to find it? I'm still trying to figure out how to expand tables, I'd like to personally get the Spec V roms to look half as good as the Maxima defs, and help future users in the same way you guys have been helping me.

You need to download the free version of wols, then open the ROM with the limiter or map you want already defined, find the location of the limiter/map, then do a search for the same values with your ROM opened in wols. A lot of the time they won’t line up so just search up values that are in the surrounding area. My current ROM has 152 maps defined using this method :) Had to use the A2L file to create new map templates for 90+ of them haha

That's what I've been trying to do, it's how I found my Cam Phasing locations, as well as DTC locations, it's also how I've been expanding the 02 Spec V definitions file on the side, but a big ol wrench gets thrown in when values start to change. I've even tried disassembling my file how a33b has suggested in previous threads and finding things that way, but I don't understand dissassembly at all.

I don't know disassembly too well either but I have quite a bit of maps defined from my method. So let's say for a limiter it's showing a value like 32050 and then when you search for that value, nothing pops up. So you want to look at the values around 32050. So just keep searching (in your ROM) for the values that surround it (Try to look for the ones that wols has colored) until you find THOSE values in YOUR ROM. Then you can just backstep and if your ROM has the map, you'll be able to follow the rows to figure out which one is the proper one. Sorry if my explanation sucks haha
