Hello all!

So as you may know, my ROM currently has 763 maps defined. I've come across TONSS of throttle related and torque related maps/curves/limiters along the way. I just wanted to see if anyone has found anything interesting/useful related to throttle and torque management.

Another thing, does anyone know which of the maps are utilized in MT cars while the rest are AT only? From Nissan's patents you can see that torque is based off of throttle opening. This is obviously more important for automatic vehicles than for manuals as Uprev has said they've found little benefit to throttle tuning for manual vehicles.

In my ROM (CF48D,) all of the throttle tables, that others claimed to be used only for drive mode switching equipped vehicles, are active by the looks of it. So it's just very intriguing to see how exactly all these 2D and 3D maps will come together. Eventually I'm going to try diving deeper into the coding through IDA pro, but I just want to see what others have been able to learn related to these maps.

For anyone curious, it's a bit complicated. Dunno much about 2D maps other than them being a more direct adjustment from what I've heard.

QH0 and it's check map directly affect throttle opening, however. lower values for less torque request (less throttle opening) and larger values for more.

mMTFDD and the three other maps are weird. It's almost like an extra torque requested kinda map. So it potentially can be viewed as a booster map where all it does is request extra torque.

mMTFDD maps RPM v vehicle speed , nothing complicated afaik. there is some good potential tuning this on AT cars
