 Post subject: create rom from dat file

i have abricked ecu with SH72533 MCU for nissan xtrail, using FTD i am trying to unbrick this ecu, problem is i need a rom file for this ecu

Some ROM areas needed for SH7253 SHboot mode recovery may not be included into update.
This is completely true for Subaru.

indeed. looks like both your files do not include the area 0-0x103FF . If you try anyway with FDT, it will probably erase *everything* including that missing area. not sure why pcmflash didn't dump that area...

So how exactly did you brick this ?

i tried adding calibration from another number

Besides there is also UserBootArea and DataArea that are wiped by FDT.
Subaru ecu uses UserBootArea to start a boot. This may be the case for Nissan as well.
I personally have never seen UserBootArea dump. It may be overcome with a applicable solder and UserRom modifications.
DataArea maybe probably already read but it contains car related information.
I would like to hope it may restored by means of a dealer diagnostic equipment being wiped out after FDT connection.
