Anybody on here mess around with the nissan cummins ecu? My buddy bricked the ecu the other night and I'm wondering if anyone here has any software to repair the ecu?

I'm not aware of seeing any ROMS like this. They likely run on entirely different architecture than gasoline ECUs. I would think that ROM has a bootloader for recovery if the proper commands are known.
I don't think anybody will be able to offer help without either opening up the hardware or posting a factory dump (if available).

+1 . I've seen some diesel dumps (4X02A, EB310, EC03) but I think those are Nissan and not Cummins, and even they were quite different albeit SH70* based. Would need a fair amount of investigation.
