My car is a 5EAT tip tronic 32 bit ecu, was wondering if that could prevent it.
gonna try the feather method tomorrow.

auto/manual shouldn't make much difference, it would be a little trickier I think. If you use romraider to monitor engine load you'll be able to see how much pedal action is needed to land you in the firecracker zone - might be you'll need to take the next load column as well to get the full effect.

bludgod method worked.
I used -10
Pros: it is controllable and sound is deep and nice.
Cons: it is not audible except if you opened the windows and driving on the side of the road I guess I need to decrease more timing -15 or -20 because of the catalytic converter. The Exhaust Temp on the gauge increased 50 degrees but probably because I did it a lot.
will test again tomorrow morning. will try to post a video as well.

hiya, you mean you can't hear it from inside the car - in front of where the sound is travelling! have someone else do you a drive by also yes temps will rise and the cats won't like it! -20 is like "imma blow the headers off" I ended up on -10 as a soft mix of loud and not feeling like i was going to be driving back to collect bits of my car. but yeh video video video

Jesus, mine is raucous to say the least. I can practically hear it firing its way out from the mid section through to the backbox.

Hearing lots of bangs but no flame or sparks...ummm. I want spark. Do i go leaner or richer to see it?
I'm at -15 degrees now with whatever fuelling i had in there
(13 down to 11) 4000 -> 7000

do you have cats or resonators in the way? Either of these will act to suppress flame output. Not sure what you mean by "i want spark" though?

I think he means flames like true AL. I get bangs but no flashes at all, just little puffs of exhaust gasses.

Yes, that's what I mean. I have no cats, just a resonator.

if you use log overlay to see which fuel table your in during the -10 timing you can add a little fuel there to try and make some flames. Depending on your map you may also be able to edit the overrun fuelling too.
Basically you can get sound effects with timing but you need fuel for visuals - you need something to burn. Also hot exhaust is needed, a cold pipe isn't going to cut it so go crush some back roads and then see what happens.
