Lots of exciting developments (pun intended) in the open-source LS tuning world lately...
PCM Hammer Release 14 is out, with full write support for both P01 (512kb) and P59 (1mb) PCMs.
https://github.com/LegacyNsfw/PcmHacks/releasesThere's a data logger included now, but it's not terribly usable yet. If you want to log a different set of parameters, you have to edit XML by hand. So that really needs some more work.
There's also a guy maintaining a GitHub repo with .bin files and XDFs (definitions). XDF support is kinda sparse, which makes tuning existing PCMs kind of a crapshoot.
But, there is a "universal donor" P01 operating system (12212156) and a P59 operating system (12587603) that each have support for every combination of transmission and DBW/cable-throttle, with complete XDFs, so you if you can switch to one of those you're all set. But you might have to start over on your tune if there is no XDF for your old OS.
https://github.com/BoredTruckOwner/LS_B ... RepositoryIn other news, an anonymous hero sent me a file with addresses and names for what appears to be every single calibration parameter in the 12587603 firmware. Presumably someone had a very successful dumpster dive outside a GM building 15 years ago. I turned it into an IDC script.

We don't have anything similar for 12212156 (the "universal donor" OS for 512kb PCMs), but I'm hoping that anything we reverse engineer in 12587603 can be found in 12212156 without too much work.
https://github.com/LegacyNsfw/12587603Two of the guys who have been helping with PCM Hammer put their heads together and made an OBD2 interface that is crazy fast. Given that the GM bus operates at 10k and 40k bits per second I didn't think the interface could make much difference, but it turns out that the ELM protocol eats up a lot of bandwidth, and their custom protocol (together with large RAM buffers and good firmware) cuts read and write times roughly in half.
