Hey friends,
I am planning on getting the AEM UEGO for assistance in tuning my 08 WRX. I planned to put it in a pillar pod. However, I am concerned about accessing the serial port on the back, or wondering if I can just plug in the cord before installation and run it to an accessible location, like under the dash etc. In the pictures of the kit though, the serial plug that plugs into the back of the gauge looks pretty deep, and makes me worried about clearance behind the gauge in the pillar pod.
Folks who own the AEM UEGO, where do you have it mounted and how do you manage access of the serial port/cable? Is the plug big enough to cause trickiness in a pillar pod?Thanks!
