I can successfully read the AFR using RomRaider from my Innovate Motorsport kit. instead of the AFR how can I read the voltage?

I can see that I can change the AFR to Lambda in the logger, so the conversion is happening in the logger, is there a specific XML file to change and read the voltage instead of AFR?

You should verify the Innovate Motorsport kit if it returns voltage values or Lambda via the (serial?) output you are using ... I presume the conversion from voltage to something else/lambda is done by the innovate controller ... and it gives you lambda ...

thanks, I have read that. Gauge is set to display AFR, and in ROMraider you can choose between AFR or Lambda on a different type of Gasoline. so where is this conversion happens?

I presume the conversion from voltage to something else/lambda is done by the innovate controller ... you can try monitor what data are you getting on the serial port ...

Yes, that's correct, but how to use the linear equation in RR to convert it back to Volts? this is specifically my question.

you can setup a formula in excel to convert AFR to volts ... after you log is saved

I don't think it's possible to modify the conversion unit for your external sensor in romraider logger (that would be another option)

or maybe you can read your sensor with the phidgetinterface where you can change the conversion unit , something like here

okay, thanks Andea79. I am already using Excel, I wish I can directly read it.

the purpose of this is to match the Vout analogue AFR, I am logging the AFR using the rear o2 sensor voltage. the gauge is correct because of its matching the Front o2 sensor perfectly. but the analogue voltage logged is fluctuating a lot. it looks like the Gauge has sort of filter or averaging the data out.

To get volts from the Innovate external plugin would require a code change to the plugin.
It would be easier for you to add to the Logger Def formula for the rear O2 sensor volts and create an AFR conversion, this way you can line up your two AFR measurements.
