excuse me for this beginner question, I was trying my first steps with Taktrix Openport 2.0 and Ecuflash to connect to a 2006 Forester 2.0.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to connect to the car after it gets the RomID (screenshot attached).
From what I read, this car should be supported. I tried several configurations, but 2005-2006 should work I thought.

Green connectors are attached, fan started to run after some seconds, when connection wasn't possible.
Am I missing anything here, do I need different definition files?

What market? If this is a Hitachi ECU then EcuFlash will not read it.

This ECU ID belongs to Hitachi.

According to the sticker on the ECU its a Hitachi, yes.

Its an EDM car.

So Ecuflash can't read it?
Are there alternatives to use?
