Hi Guys,

Please let me know what could be wrong. Im not sure if lightened pulleys have something to do with this. Graph made from Romroader log (engine speed vs time elapsed, 3rd gear 100% throttle)

This is the worst part of the dip from 2000 to 5000 plus rpm.

Here is the full rpm log for that 100% throttle run at 3rd gear.
I marked those with dips on red but it turned out to be more than just dips.

The RPM signal is just noisy. It's weird, but it's true. The ECU can apparently fire the spark plugs with 1/3 degree accuracy and yet for some reason it can only report RPM +/- 100. Go figure.

How noisy is your logging signal in general?
Plot the time column alone against the number of samples taken, how jittery does that look? Anything like this?

And, how many parameters where you logging at the time? The more you select to log the fewer samples per second you get back.

I only logged 11 parameters namely Time Engine Load (Calculated) (g/rev) Engine Speed (rpm) ERROR Ignition Total Timing (degrees) Throttle Opening Angle (%) IAM (multiplier) Manifold Relative Pressure (psi) Mass Airflow (g/s) Mass Airflow Sensor Voltage (V) Primary Wastegate Duty Cycle (%)

I checked the other logs posted and their rpm is fine even if they had 9 parameters.

These were logged when my battery was a a few minutes about to be replaced. When I went to the gas station and left my ignition at on while filling up, subie wouldnt start afterwards. Dealer previously told me to get it replaced but I was just trying to max it out. :-) I havent logged yet since getting the new battery. My own tactrix will be here by this week. Is there a connection? How about a dirty air filter causing rpm to be erratic or the lightened pulley set I have on? Or maybe it can just be as simple as 11 parameters being logged that made it logging "noisy"?

It's most likely noisy due to 11 parameters, do you need so many?
If it happens after this new battery post up the log too.
