I have problem to use the tactrix 2.0 adaptor to my STI JDM V8 Ecu.
I have tried to read error codes with Ecuexplorer and Learning veiw but i can not connect to the Ecu.


Is it impossible to use tactrix adaptor on a Ecutek Ecu?

Yes, normaly ECUTek close OBD read-and-write connecting via chancing Seed-and-key.

Only chance to read parts of the dump ist to use ECUMem-Tool.
Complete read-out are possilble via AUD-port.

Latest ECUTek software closed AUD-port also.

Today i got it to work.
It was fault in a cable splitter that gives the obd 12v from battery+

I have Sti JDM v8 ECU and wiring in a Impreza GT v6.

So it work together with Learning veiw and Ecutek.

My ECU is Ecuteked in Sweden 2010

all diagnosic based communitcation should still work, but reading and wirting will not work with ECUtek.

When i try to read my rom with Ecuflash the log says:
"[21:46:49.093] using metadata XML ID read_wrxnonusdm from file C:/Program/OpenECU/EcuFlash/rommetadata/read templates/read_wrxnonusdm.xml
[21:46:49.109] Flashing tools do not recognize flash method 'wrx02'
[21:47:08.187] using metadata XML ID read_wrx02 from file C:/Program/OpenECU/EcuFlash/rommetadata/read templates/read_wrx02.xml
[21:47:08.203] Flashing tools do not recognize flash method 'wrx02'"

So i got another Ecu today, with the same modelnumber. I can read it with Learning weiv but with Ecuflash it is the same thing..
