As the title suggests, I can offer a donation for a definition or fix to my issue. Vehicle is a 2010 Subaru Forester XT - AT (USDM).
I've searched and searched. I have a Tactrix Openport 2.0 as well as the latest version of ECUFlash. I've tried definition XML files from GitHub specifically AZ1G601R under ECUFlash>Standard Subaru>Forester XT. When I pull the flash from the ECU, ECUFlash says the operation was successful, however a popup appears saying it's an unknown ROM. I've tried downloading additional XML files and have placed them in the Subaru Metadata directory that ECUFlash is pointed to. If I select the option to create new definition > copy from definition below > 2010 Subaru USDM Forester XT (AZ1G601R) appears in the drop down menu. Using address 2004 and 8bit the identifier will always default to AZ1G600R. The ECU Calibration ID will auto populate as 6C12506007 The ROM will appear, but only the top 12 lines. Under that a drop down for patches. No other tables will appear. Please help, I'm at my wits limits.

save the file from ECUflash, zip it and post it up.
