Hi,

I'm trying to see what the "CVTF Deterioration" parameter is for my 2011 Subaru Outback, 2.5, PZEV, CVT.

When I connect to my OBD using a generic VAG COM KKL cable, I'm able to pull several things from either the ECU or TCU, but I can't find anything that corresponds to the CVTF Deterioration.

I e-mailed with ActiveOBD a few times since their app displays it, but i don't have an Android device nor a Bluetooth OBD dongle, and trying to avoid buying something specifically for that one purpose...

Apparently I'm looking for:

parameter id="P197" name="Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Deterioration Degree"

Is there a reason I can't see it? Is there a way I can forcibly add it?

Thank you!
Pilot

I could very well be a standard SSM parameter. But our SSM definition has not been updated for quite a while, probably not since the CVT came out. So if it's a parameter to log we just might not know how to identify it when the Logger queries the ECU or TCU for the parameters it supports.

I see, thank you for the reply. I'll try to get in touch with ActiveOBD again to see if they can point me in the right direction.
