Hey!
It’s been a minute since I posted. 2013 wrx hatch.
I tuned this car using Romraider/Ecuflash about 5 years ago. Since then the tune has remained untouched. I recently switched back from an EL header to the stock manifold. I’d like to touch up the tune but I’m having a hell of a time getting my new laptop set up to do this.

I’ve used these programs on a few cars (2 WRXs and an Evo) so I’m fairly familiar with sync’ing everything up along with a wide and that I have hard wired to log with a serial cable( which worked flawlessly when I last used it)

Laptop is running windows 7 (I’ve had the best luck with this OS for logging/flashing)
I’m using a Tactrix 2.0
My problem is that my ECU isn’t recognized. So I can view real time monitoring but I can’t read my current map, flash or log.

Any ideas?

I did have a little trouble finding the proper defs for ECUflash.

And I did find a new ‘defs’ download but it’s like the actual code. It’s not a folder I can download. So I’m not sure how to ‘paste’ it where it needs to be to recognize my car.

I appreciate any help you can offer.
