RomRaider

Hi everyone,

still very new into getting into RomRaider/EcuFlash etc so please bear with me.

I managed to copy the ROM from my 2011 Subaru Legacy Diesel. In the standard definitions that are uploaded to this forum there is a definition for the Diesel from 2009/2010. I thought it should be the same as mine, as mine is a Euro 5 Diesel.

But when I want to open it romRaider (and EcuFlash) will say that it is an unknown definition.

So how can I tell that my binary really requires a different Ecu Definition or if I'm just doing something wrong? Since it's the same behavior on EcuFlash and Romraider I'd assume that the problem lies with the definition.

But how can I confirm that? Anyone want to try opening my hex with the Subaru Diesel definition and just tell me if it works for you or not?

Of course the third option is that my copy process wasn't successful for some reason?
