The latest definition hasn't got AVCS or Lift maps. Also I'm worried that other important maps may be missing. Is it normal to only have target AFR maps for open loop fuel but no VE map to match?

I have uploaded the ROM (D2UH001M)

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Legend!
The AVLS tables would be amazing if anybody wouldn't mind.
Or preferably any tables regarding requested torque (throttle blade) smoothing. Frigging hate the delay programmed in.

I tried to tune AVLS once (on Legacy MY10 2.5 NA) but fuel consumption only got worse. It seems I have missed something.

I have to see how they look like. Do you have any defs for any ROM with these tables defined?

Yeah the AVLS system for the 2.5 is mostly eco, the ez30 AVLS is a more agressive cam lobe, kinda like VTEC.

I haven't come across any, but I'm sure it'll be there somewhere.
I can jab the throttle on and off entirley and it'll still be a good ways behind what my foots doing. It's mostly the lift off that I notice it. When changing gears if you put the clutch in too quickly after backing off the throttle the engine revs up.

OK, I think I found AVLS tables. New defs include tables in which I am more or less sure.

Yeah, I know that delay you are talking about. It pisses me off too. It is good when car is very slow or goes in reverse but not when driving. I tried to find it, but I did not succeed.

Looks like that's the one, you're a bloody legend :)

Out of curiosity do you happen to know the conditions which the A-E tables are used?

I find myself wondering which tables the ecu is using and why, specifically the ignition tables :)

All right! :D

Unfortunately I can only guess. It looks like A table could possibly be a kinda maximum table. Tables B,C and D,E could possibly be for non-cruise/cruise conditions respectively or vice versa, I'm not sure.

I looked through several well described ROMs and that's I've figured out. Non-cruise ignition tables often have more aggresive timing. Also one should juxtaposed ignition and AVCS and AVLS tables to determine which tables are ignition reference tables. In short, my way is to guess.

I think I'll set every table to a fixed number and do some logs.
Timing A: 10 degress globally
Timing B: 11 degrees globally
Etc lol

See which tables are being utilised and why.
Might have to do the same with AVLS.
One last hassle for you, don't happen to have the logging defintion values of the AVLS status? :) Would make this much easier :)

That should be standard logging parameter called "VVL lift mode", or P127.
