d_munter wrote: what addresses at MS43? It depends on the softwareversion. MS43 has at least 5 softwareversion with minor to major offsets, known versions are MS430037, MS430055, MS430056, MS430066, MS430069 and each has that map at different position. Wouldn´t it be sufficient to just raise c_tco_dly_puc_min to 140°C so puc-condition won´t be triggered?

At MS430066 the map does look like this. At MS430037 it should be identical. Attachment: MS430066_PUC_AC.jpg Attachment: MS430066_PUC_wo-AC.jpg

I take it then that MS42 follows very similar logic to MS43 then no? I have an E36/7 with MS42, but have never really gotten a chance to look at the hexdump.

So, this is what your deceleration findings look at MS43. As MS43 is much more complex, i couldn´t find most of the detection maps. Detection handling must be somewhat different.

Cloudforce wrote: Yes, its really close and its also really close to MS41. Actually i´m playing with GM MS70/71 and even that is pretty similar. When working with MS42, i have an XDF for TunerPro software already build, but that just works with one particular softwareversion 01100AD01000. If your ecu has that software, feel free to use the XDF. http://www50.zippyshare.com/v/8067211/file.html 32kb file! http://www36.zippyshare.com/v/28026720/file.html 512kb file! Thank you for that. I just went outside and read the car. What location is the softwareversion? Opening it with the XDF in TunerPro software gives me a softwareversion of 1100C6010000 , but I'm not sure if it's reading at the right location since other maps don't "fit". Now where to find a stock version of that one? Can I convert from the BMW Daten files just like MS41?

Do you have an example of 430066 MS43?
I want to see if there's useable data to use 330i injectors in the M52tub25 (my MS42) engine, and reference it in the tune. I have no clue what maps need to change for different injectors, but I'm sure within time, I will find out.

Disassembled 0056 version i think. Found some procedures for maps handling. Gimme some problems I'll try to find.
