Hi All
Been messing with the Hysteresis again. Setting my maximum to 7000rpm and Delay to 98.
This has actually illuminated the pops and crackles and has produced a heavy ordure of fuel and at random points off throttle i get a massive bang and big old flame.
can anyone explain what the Maximum setting does, i have read the explanations on the tables but to be honest its a grey area as everyone is still developing there own maps and settings and knowledge as to what everything really does and just wondering if anyone has clearer info as to what these settings end up doing.

Sorry for bad english Thx This is due to Ignition Cut based rev limiter. The stock ECU uses a Fuel Cut based rev limiter. I have no plans to look into changing the code to Ignition Cut based rev limiting. Also, this video is clearly not of the car in 'Deceleration' mode...

Funny you say this as i am videoing it this weekend, have also been told i am flaming a fair bit as well. I just cant get it to do much when coming off WOT and i honestly cant believe nobody here has achieved this, It feels the ones that do make it happen don`t want or care to share that info and i find that a little ridiculous. There is a guy "RK TUNES" that has achieved the perfect decel on the E36 , massive pops and burble from WOT so it is achievable, just a little more sharing of info, putting our heads together and it could be there.

Correct, but you still mentioned timing not retarding enough and no mentioned of pops and bangs on decel from wot, seems a lot of people have this issue and not been cracked yet as to why although it is doable. I have played for hours/days with decel maps and just can't get the pop /back fire on wot gear change to happen.

I was able to get target ignition to whatever I wanted. -10 with crazy annoying bangs and +10 for a nice crackle. It worked at all RPMs.

I totally get that and I understand where You are comin from, off throttle I have mine retarding down to -25 and it happily sits there until back on throttle but no cracks or bangs atall, getting the timing down it easy part I think but how did you manage the fueling, are you adding still on decel via messing with the hysteresis?
