Hi!

I'm looking for a solution to protect tunes, on both ms42 and ms43.

I know chipster sold software to lock these. Please send a PM if you got a solution to share or sell :)

In other forums there is a simple rule:

"If you don´t know how to do it, your tunes aren´t worth it."

Can´t say if right or wrong.

IMHO it is wrong. There are many people who have knowledge and experience required to make a good tune but do not have or just do not want to spend time to research locking methods.

How special the tune can be that it needs read lock?? With the current tools available, it's doesn't require some magic knowledge to tune the car properly. Also setup needs own custom tune to make best use of it, so if you get tune made for some other car, it's almost useless unless you have 1:1 same setup in your car.

Hello everybody,

I want to sell one of my e36.
There I installed a self-adjusted control unit.

Would like to protect this so that you can no longer read it.

Is that possible?

Greetins
