Initially, the RT release ("RamTune") for RomRaider will be for the 16bit ecus. Because of limited unused ram space (about 1kb and is actually the upper range for the stack) for these ecus, the ram lut will be dynamic allowing the user to choose and create different profiles (assortments) of tables within the limits from about 20 capable RT tables. I don't think we are going to have the same ram issue with the 32bit ecus, so it is likely to be different (ram lut stored in the rom). I don't see development of RamTune for the 32bit ecus until after the release of the 16bit version, so it is hard to say exactly how it will play out.
I'm also an amateur, except that I have a business degree.

I think all the professionals get bored with this stuff at work and don't want to work on it in their spare time, so it is up to us to get down n' dirty with assembly.
