Hello everyone.

I have done a map on a modified m52b28. Big cams. Ported head. S50 itbs. M54 maf.

The car runs strong and smooth. Idle is spot on. The only problem is when cruising at part throttle for a longer period ( 2500 - 3000 rpm and 150 -250 load ) it keeps getting a tps code and runs like s*** after.

If you drive normally around town or step on it it has no issue. Even drove 100km without it doing this. Then slowed down and drove gently and the tps code appeared right away.

replace with known good tps sensor. they do go bad with age

Forgot to mention the tps was replaced. Wiring checked and even got new wires ran just to be 120% sure.

must have something to do with your itb setup probably where maybe in a certain range it is not engaging properly and plausibility is not given.
do some logging with tps value and voltage.

Strangely enough i tought i sorted it out. Car was fine for about a week or so but ot was only doing around town driving. Went on a longer trip and guess who's back. Seems to only do it when you keep it steady between 2500 and 3000 rpm.... when driving through that range its fine.
