I am in need of a definition for this vehicle as ECU Flash will not recognize the ROM. I talked to Tactrix and they told me to ask here. I did look on GitHub and there was nothing there for it. I have attached the ROM I was able to save after reading.

Can I just write a stock E2UE201B file to the car? Is there anything special I need to do to do this? I read through that thread and it looks like that may have been what he did but I was not exactly sure with some of the technical jargon if it was as simple as just writing to it or some modification was required. I am guessing they are saying if part of the 2 roms are the same then the pcms are interchangeable so to speak. I am new to using ECU Flash and Subarus, but I know on other platforms there is a risk of bricking the pcm if things are not compatible. Thanks.

Yes that's basically what he's saying there is he did the flash compare and it was good and so he flashed that file straight on and was good to go.
