 Post subject: az1e401a - immobilizer delete

is it possible to patch an immobilizer delete to an az1e401a rom? my car wont stay running and the security light is on solid and i really dont want to spend the money on a locksmith or the dealership. any instruction on this would be very helpful. thanks!

you'll likely need SSM4, and you'll need the key programming code.

I myself have been unable to program a Legacy because it has another vehicle's ECU in it, and the key programming code is now different.

You can retrieve it from the cluster, or BIU, if you've got a chip reader.

what about using a ch341 or pi pico and clip to pull the ecu data and have AI scrub the hex file for the information and attempting to modify it yourself? I have been wondering if anyone has used this method yet. I know you can program keys and other things this way if you can parse through the data.
