Thats exactly what I get when trying to UPDATE MAF and UPDATE INJECTOR SCALAR, Jeff.

The Latency updater, I do get the confirmation box, as well as the successful update action.

I PM'd the defs + rom of mine.
I just noticed, however, that in v028, I'd only added the bchslap_def to the selections, that had the ecu_def.xml that came with 028. I never added the 081b ecu defs, not thinking I needed them, since I had my specific one. I also have in the v028 folder, the 081b logger defs, in addition to the one that came with 028. Make sense, because I think I just confused myself, even

i'm looking for the idiot's guide to using this test release...
in particular for the maf tab...

is there a listing a parameters that must be logged in the data tab to be able to get the maf tab to record data??

Nope.
select the MAF tab.. if you use Fahrenheit, change the temps fro 25/35 to whatever. I've been using 25/90, as it's still relatively cool in the day here.

Then hit the record button, watch the magic unfold..

the IAT settings is what was sticking me in the arse.. once i set the 35 to 90, it started displaying the recordings..

maf tab works and does update the maf table in romraider as well...
no error for me

(needed to open up the IAT temps as bchslap had predicted)

any recommend driving styles for gathering the maf data??
I tried to minimize throttle changes (as in mickeyd's macro)

Hmm..
I couldn't get it to update the MAF table, or the Injector Scalar table. I, too, have 02WRX, A4SGE01C..

Hey, can I at least get some credit for being the first dummy to realize he was trying to filter IAT's using celsius but logging in fahrenheit? :lol:

Just wanted to post to say thanks again for all of the hard work kascade. Hopefully we're helping out enough to make the progress as painless as possible

I didn't try the injector scalar table (i have virgin stockers)
I'm using a vista laptop and the defs included in the zipped test release.

shout out to Lance Lucas!!! I'm sure I misread one of your earlier posts.

Kascade gets the biggest shout out though!!!

You guys are definitely helping. I've worked out what's going on with the table updates from the maf/injector tabs so will have a fix out soon.

btw, i actually used the maf & injector tabs today in anger for the first time on an ADM MY07 STI and they worked like a charm. certainly sped up the tuning process.

Has anyone other than root get their LM-1 to work?

I don't have an LM-1 but I am curious if it logs well now.
