Nope... but my sever was down for a week.
This project is still alive and well. I'm in the process of selling our house and building a new one.
So... this project is on pause. But far from dead. The android port is working, but lots and lots of bugs I've not had time to hammer out yet. Hopefully, I'll find time to get it out on an Alpha release soon!

Yes please, I would love a simple boost, fbkc, and flkc readout on my phone. Learning view would also be great.

I make no promises as to it's stability, although I've been using it for a few months now... but you are welcome to side-load the android version if you want and see how it goes.

Do you have any bug tracking (I realise it's alpha and you are busy). I've got access to a few android devices and testing J2ME/Android apps was a big part of my 9-5 until a year ago. Happy to help
From what I know, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch/if at all to make it Honeycomb/tablet friendly once the handset version further progressed.

Also, downloading the APK now

I don't yet have an official bug tracking system in place. Right now, I just use the support forum on the web site. I'll most likely setup something for bugs in the near future. I just wish I had more free time, but wow, having 3 kids sure does take up your time!! I promise, this is not a dead project. I use it every day, every time I get into my car. That'd be pretty cool if you had the ability to test it on various devices. I honestly doubt getting it run in Honeycomb will be too difficult. Assuming I can get the current version out of Alpha!! :)

Hope the APK works for you.

APK "works" as in it loads and basic android stuff + menu items seem ok. Yet to get it talking to anything yet but only spent a few minutes tinkering at a red light.

I'm going to load the java version on an old Nokia N95 I have lying around so I can get a feel for what the more mature version does/doesn't do and take it from there.

What do you actually expect the android version to do (if anything) ?

The android version should have all the main functionality in place.
- Select a profile
- Download a online profile
- Select and Connect to Bluetooth or Serial
What the Android version lacks right now is enough usage by me to weed out the interface bugs.
My InCarPC is currently down for repairs, so as of just last week, I've been once again running the Android version.

Just an FYI, the Android Version... at long last... is on the Android Market.
It still needs a little work, and a few bug fixes, but it does work perfectly on my 00RS using the SSM protocol via an OBDKey bluetooth dongle.

I have a micro sub to female USB A coming, going to give this a shot with my Elm327 cable and Samsung Galaxy note, huge screen and if it works, would look great.

I'm afraid that at the moment, the Android version only supports Bluetooth.
I assume the Galaxy you are referring to is an Android Device.
Since so few phones have a Master USB port, I didn't focus on getting regular serial working.
But, I can. If I can find a device to test with.
I think my Samsung Captivate has a USB port can can be put into master mode.
I'll have to give it a try.
You know.. I really should try and find a decent cheap tablet to test on too.

Yea it is an andriod mobile phone ( fantastic too by the way), running gingerbread but will be upgraded to ICS 4.0 once available. My elm cable is usb so the little convertor should make it fut grand. i dont have a bluetooth elm cable so thought id give this a go. The convertor only cost £1.49 ($1.99) so not really much to lose.

I'm running an Alpha ICS (Cyanogen) release on my Capivate. Quite a few nice improvements over the previous release. :)

Hey, can you fire me a link to this converter you bought.
I'd like to see if it, or something similar works on my phone.
Getting a USB variant of the Android software working would be a good upgrade.
