Hey Guys,

I have been using dashboard recently now that romraider is running on my carputer and I have noticed a few things. I am not sure if this tab is still being developed, but I can gladly help code if need be. In any case:

1. FBKC and FLKC do not reset the status bar (green bar that grows/shrinks with mins/max) when refreshing the data. The values change, but the bar remains unless I minimize to the desktop and restore. Any fix?

2. Full Screen Mode would be fantastic!

3. Possibly a black background?

I searched but didnt find too much on this.

Thanks,
Adam

Same questions form me :)

Running RomRaider as a gauge-display on rasperry-pi is possible, so you can use a video in to display on your radio.

Now a emproment of the gauge stile would be very nice.

I also like to chance the size of the gauges, as well as a mixture of LEDs to display switches, digial display of values

Maybe it is possible to use the same gauge-stiler like EVOScan do ?

#1 it may be a bug, I never use that display I switch to the numbers only gauge
#2 is already a feature. Check the run.bat file in the RomRaider ZIP download for the start-up switch to enable it.
#3 has been requested as an enhancement already

Thanks for the info sir!

I will look into it.

Edit:

Looked into it. If I am not mistaken, the code for full screen allows for the program to run full screen. I was wondering if there was something that could take the gauge display page (just the section with the gauges) and make that full screen.

No, not currently.

I'm taking a peek...
Maybe since it seems to work when a full paint/invalidation occurs it might be similar to calling progressbar.setValue in a loop and not having it update as one would expect.

-Cheers

Maybe the update doesn't trigger a refresh due to the data model of progress bar.

JavaDoc wrote:
void javax.swing.JProgressBar.setValue(int n)

Sets the progress bar's current value to n. This method forwards the new value to the model.

The data model (an instance of BoundedRangeModel) handles any mathematical issues arising from assigning faulty values. See the BoundedRangeModel documentation for details.

If the new value is different from the previous value, all change listeners are notified.
