Utility for ecu memory reading by SSM A0 "ReadBlock" command. K-line (OP1.2/OP1.3/VagCom/etc.) adapters are supported. Microsoft.net framework should be installed if programm fails to start. Tested under v3.5.
Not all areas of some ecu's are read.

Works on EURO4 Diesel ECU too: Denso 32 bit SH7058 calibration ROM start 0B0000 length 04FB80(not all area will be read) Denso 32 bit SH7058 RAM start FF0000 length 00C000 (not all area will be read) A lot faster then read by SSM-test-app of RR Realy a nice tool. If a have a wish, just also support OP2.0 interface not to have this mess of interfaces, but everything else is really nice Jochen

1 - Check that appropriate COM port is selected and is not hooked by another application. 2 - Switch ignition Off, wait 10-15 sec switch On.

I know for sure the author will not do any upgrade for OP2.0. His ecu (SH7051 based) is not supported by Tactrix. $10 (secondary) K-line cable for logging/calibration uploading seems to be applicable for those who paid for OP2.

How can I know what numbers to use for Address and Length? I have the Legacy 06 with EJ204 (AVCS) engine. The ECU is a Hitachi 22611-Ak772, the large IC on the board is marked as UJ WA12212970WWW 612B101. Attachment:

How long does it take to read the rom?
I literally went and do stuff and it was still reading. Is there a way to see a debug?

About 3/4 hour per 1 Mb. You should see EcuID and a progress bar while reading when connected properly.
Check the length for reading. Probably you asked too long.

I put in. 10000 and 02000.
I connected up the green connectors and started the process. Just status going up and repeating itself.

You should use k-line adapter. There is no need to connect any connectors to read the ecu. What ecu are you trying to read ?

Using OpenPort 1.2 Cable Attachment:

Seems like some sort of success.
