It depends on the softwareversion. MS43 has at least 5 softwareversion with minor to major offsets, known versions are MS430037, MS430055, MS430056, MS430066, MS430069 and each has that map at different position.

Wouldn´t it be sufficient to just raise c_tco_dly_puc_min to 140°C so puc-condition won´t be triggered?

i have MS430037.

dont know about temp, we are discussing partial cutoff conditions. you can also read MSS5x thread - they also did pon-pon-pon-pon-pon! :) not sure how, but something like:
Quote:
For Dynamics_FUEL CUT DELAY TIME K_DYN_SA_TSPERR - 6 seconds to 60 seconds
For Ignition_MINIMUM (8x6) KF_TZ_MIN - 0.15 rf (top row) set to -10.0ø

Raising that temp didn´t change anything, when comparing logs.

At MS430066 the map does look like this. At MS430037 it should be identical.

Cloudforce, why don't you share whatever definitions you have for the MS43 with the rest of us?

Didn´t i already uploaded the MS43 Damos and the corresponding hex file?

Well, in case i didn´t, here it is:

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... sp=sharing

I´d advise to stick with MS430056 (the original Damos and hex version), as the other versions more or less have significant errors.

I take it then that MS42 follows very similar logic to MS43 then no? I have an E36/7 with MS42, but have never really gotten a chance to look at the hexdump.

Yes, its really close and its also really close to MS41. Actually i´m playing with GM MS70/71 and even that is pretty similar.

When working with MS42, i have an XDF for TunerPro software already build, but that just works with one particular softwareversion 01100AD01000. If your ecu has that software, feel free to use the XDF.

http://www50.zippyshare.com/v/8067211/file.html 32kb file!
http://www36.zippyshare.com/v/28026720/file.html 512kb file!

So, this is what your deceleration findings look at MS43. As MS43 is much more complex, i couldn´t find most of the detection maps. Detection handling must be somewhat different.

Thank you for that. I just went outside and read the car.
What location is the softwareversion? Opening it with the XDF in TunerPro software gives me a softwareversion of 1100C6010000 , but I'm not sure if it's reading at the right location since other maps don't "fit". Now where to find a stock version of that one? Can I convert from the BMW Daten files just like MS41?

I have a collection of ews virginized files that match the XDF. Unfortunally your ecu has the wrong software.

http://www12.zippyshare.com/v/97798034/file.html

you can use this flasher to flash full 512kb file. Do NOT try to use different 32kb file on your ecu, it will "brick".

Do you have an example of 430066 MS43?

I want to see if there's useable data to use 330i injectors in the M52tub25 (my MS42) engine, and reference it in the tune.
I have no clue what maps need to change for different injectors, but I'm sure within time, I will find out.

We already know which maps need some tweaking when injector size changes

M54B30 MS430066 looks like this:

Disassembled 0056 version i think. Found some procedures for maps handling. Gimme some problems I'll try to find.
