Happens sometimes, it crashes at around 60-80% and after that it just gives an error that it cannot comunicate with ecu. After that i cant reflash with MS41 Quickflash via obd and i usualy fix it with direct flash with Siemens MS41 Flash Tool_105b (no ident, directly flash partial) or with MS41 Quickflash but in bench setup. No need to desolder.
Thank you for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate the help.
I have MS41 QuickFlash and I’ve already built a bench setup using the following wiring:
From DME to:
26 – Battery (+) → to + and 16 of the OB2
28 – Ground distribution → to ground and 4-5 of the OB2
49 – Ignition switch (+12 V) → to + and 16 of the OB2
60 – Programming voltage → to + and 16 of the OB2
88 – K-line → to 7 of the OB2
Even with this setup, I still can’t establish communication with the ECU on the bench.
Is there anything special that needs to be done to put the MS41 into bench / boot mode, or should this wiring alone be sufficient to connect and flash?
If there is any other method or approach you would recommend to solve this, I’d really appreciate your advice.
Thanks again for your response and any help you can provide.
