The adders are here:
Code:
ROM:00065E3C AF3_Adder_Remove:.float 0.000244
ROM:00065E40 AF3_Adder_Add:  .float 0.000168

Zeroing these should remove AF3 correction.

Looks like the older STIs (pre 2007) have only the adders to AF3 correction, not the limits.

That's how the 04 Forester seems to be too. Disabling the Correction doesn't seem to zero out the AF3 at all either.

For Ecuflash

in 32bitbase

Code:
   <scaling name="AF3_Adder" units="units" toexpr="x" frexpr="x" format="%.6f" min="0" max="255" inc="1e-05" storagetype="float" endian="big"/>

For the A2ZJ512I

Code:

Thanks a bunch.

Couple of questions. What are these adders? They are float values that need to be zeroed out to disable af3 correction? This on top of the limits or should I start with that first?

Also is the following correct:-
Code:
<scaling name="AF3_Adder" units="units" toexpr="x" frexpr="x" format="%.6f" min="0" max="255" inc="1e-05" storagetype="float" endian="big"/>
 <table name="AF 3 Correction Adder (Increase)" category="ALPHA AF 3 (Rear O2 Sensor)" address="65e40" type="1D" level="1" scaling="AF3_Adder"/>
 <table name="AF 3 Correction Adder (Decrease)" category="ALPHA AF 3 (Rear O2 Sensor)" address="65e3c" type="1D" level="1"  scaling="AF3_Adder"/>

In the earlier roms, there is no limit to the AF 3 correction (only the rear o2 comps). These are adders are basically added or substracted from the AF 3 correction value - so if they are zeroed out, AF 3 correction is also zeroed.

In terms of the xml, I would put it into the 32bitbase and your xml - that way you can easily add the value for any future roms, as opposed to adding it to each rom one by one. See my syntax above.

Thank you very much, that did the trick (Along with zeroed Comp limits), AF3 stayed at 0 at all RPM's.

i wonder if connecting the wideband output (0-5v) instead of a narrowband to the rear o2 input will still result in the "limp" mode that happens when you disconnect the rear o2 sensor.
