That is correct. I may split it into 16bit and 32bit versions when/if I finish incorporating WasteGate Limit/Boost target calculations though.

I think that would be great. From what I gather (I may be saying something stupid but I'm going to say it anyways) you need to copy your ignition maps into the proper sheets? Right? the 32 bit maps are too big, arn't they?

None the less great work, I'm absolutly amazed at what some of you can do with excel (and I thought I knew the program pretty well, apparenlty not!)

The current version of the spreadsheet can handle different sizes for the Timing/Advance/Fueling maps. It sort of self detect the table size so that the interpolation function knows where the table ends.

You just have to copy/paste the tables to the appropriate pages, making sure the column headers line up with the table, like the one in the screen shots or the default tables in the spreadsheet.

Cool beans. I was hoping it was that simple but, didn't think that was possible, again I'm impressed! :D

Quick Question:

What does it mean after you plot the Timing Interpolate, and go back to your base map, some cells are bordered?

Those are the cells your car is using based off of the log provided.

I am having some trouble with the excel spreadshet v2p2a. I have logged data in ecuexplorer. When I try to import the data into v2p2a, I get " Runtime error 1004 Activate method of worksheet class failed"
and it asks me to debug. If I choose debug it continues to open this error message over and over. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ecuexplorer generates files with long names and uses square brackets [ ] that excel can't handle. Rename the file and try again.

Please read the first page of the spreadsheet as it has this, plus some other useful bits of info.

Airboy you are the man!! I just renamed the file and BLAMMO! There's all my data. Sweet, now all I've got to do is figure out what it all means. I made 4 logs on my stock map, flashed my stage 1 map today and will be logging that this week. The car seems to like the new map so far.
Thanks again for the help!!

any chance you could point me in a direction to help me unravel the meaning of all the data. I understand some of it but not all :cry:

I was going to ask the same as brock31. * Places "Dunce hat" on head :oops: *
How is this spreadsheet helping you guys to tune/fine tune your cars. Please, someone, give some examples of what the data is telling us and thus what changes should be made. I don't need assistance getting it to work........just to interpret what its telling me (other than i'm a bit thick :wink: )

The spreadsheet compares logged values (what the car is acutally runing) to Map values (what the car is supposed to be runing). Inaddition to that it also shows you which cells and load sites the car is using, so you know which you have change easily. Hope that helps.

Airboy thanks for the info. I'm still trying to learn how to interpret the data logs, so I may ask a few potentially dumb questions.

For example, If I'm looking at the base timing map, the colored data at the top is what the ECU is telling the engine to run, correct?
Then, below this in the uncolored section, the data is what the engine actually ran during the log I pulled, right?
Also, the headers along the top are engine load? and along the right side engine speed (rpm) right?
Now on my particular map the rpm's match between the two maps but the header along the top (engine load?) is different.
The colored map is from 0.16---2.9 and the uncolored map is from 0.15-2.5. Is that normal?

In the colored map there are particular cells that are "highlighted" or bold blocks,. What does that mean?
