You NEED to transfer all of your tables over to the new rom. You can't just load the rom to the car.

You need to get the Merpmod Definitions for the ROM you are transferring to so you can look at the ROM ecuflash.

Forgive my noobness, how do i do so?

I got some XML, i found the XML for the rom i'm using in
SubaruDefs-MerpMod\ECUFlash\subaru standard\MerpMod\Testing

the ecuflash only loads the merp tables and not the full tables.

You need the xml I PM'd you and the A2ZJD02G standard one.

If that doesn't work, there's a log in ECUflash when you open the ROM. Copy/paste it here. It shows what XML files it's using to open the ROM.

Ohhh. So the tables i should copy over are the XML definitions table from the original D02G ROM ?
THOUGHT there was some physical table i should copy from roms.

I'm getting right at that. THank you for staying with me on this

You need the merpmod version of the 32bitbase. Not the standard one

Ok. Copied the merp bases

I can see a WHOLE LOT of tables now, and some are editable. Mostly the FFS ones.
I'd like to disable Speed density first of all though

Every table you see should be editable. Look at the XML file for the ROM itself. If you can't see all of those tables or they don't look right or have bizarre values you have an issue.

Transfer your table data into the new ROM in ECUflash after verifying.

One of the tables you should see is Speed Density Mode. Keep that at MAF mode and it will run off the MAF as stock.

Then if all looks right, you can do a test flash.

The XML file only has 48 lines. Not sure why but that's what I have here.

OK. My buddy down in australia (matt) sent me a D02G map.
So my car has D02G with my tune running fine.

It just didn't run the merpmodded one that a member on here sent me.

Professwrx, any help out there?
