HI All

I just installed new Equal length headers and after about 10 minutes of driving i keep getting this code.

And my 3rd Airflow range is way off

Does this look like a front 02 Sensor problem

The front 02 sensor was disconnected for a few days.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Mitch

I am 80% sure exhaust leak before the O2 sensor.

reset the ECU drive for sometime and see if persist. then check for leaks.

why did you disconnect he O2 Sensor?

I installed new headers.

I guess i will have to pull them back off and put some copper spray on the gaskets

Can anyone give me some good places to start looking for this?

MAF dirty. intake leak. Or is it in the up-pipe??

it could be a leak in the exhaust or it could be a leak somewhere up top.

Look at the info - the ECU is having to add fuel, meaning additional air has been introduced that didn't flow through the MAF sensor. Check your pipes and vac lines from the MAF sensor right back to the manifold and everything in between. I've lost count of the number of people who "don't have a vac leak" who later found out they had a vac leak so please check them twice.

If the exhaust has been off then it's a good place to start, stuff a rag in the exhaust and get your head underneath on a cold start - should be easier to find where it's coming from if there is a leak down there. Couldn't guess about your MAF sensor just by looking at learning view data, you'd need to log MAF data for that one.

So i just block the exhaust with a rag and start it up?

Is that ok to do?

yeh stuff a rag in there to block some some of the gasses escaping, if there is a leak in the exhaust you'll see the exhaust smoke coming out the leak instead of out the back of the car. Don't rev the car or anything just let it idle (ideally someone in the car to turn off if there is a problem).

But check those hoses as well.

My first question with O2 problems is when was exhaust work done and invariably it's always the culprit when recent.

It also usually means the combustion chamber itself is not lean but at atmospheric pressure which is usually around that airflow range, the small leak post exhaust valve induces fuel additive and ends up with rich mictures in the chamber
