Flashing USDM ROM will make AP work?

May be its not correct to post this here but A friend of mine is travelling to United States, He wants to buy an access port for his car (Subaru WRX STI 2015 EDM). I tried to convenience him to use the RomRaider but he likes the AP as he used in FORD ST and BMW cars. We all know that AP does NOT work with EDM models. so the question is:

If he flashed the USDM ROM on his car he will be able to use the AP?

Or brick the ecu if bootloader entry points are not the same for those ROMs.

I tried "test write" it succeeded.

The first 2 rows was"yes" which means its the same bootloader entry points correct?

If you have the complete ROMs including bootloaders compare bootloader images.

ok but will the AP work?

If this works it will increase Cobbs sales and provide some great options to non US markets.

The AP should work with a USDM rom, the question is if the car/ecu will work with the usdm rom
