How can the SF MAF scaling be this rich for some and OK for others?
I mean, MAF scaling seems pretty straight forward when the MAF sensor is good and and injector properties are known.
What about the OEM GR STI MAF scaling? I know I needed to tweak mine quite a bit even with the OEM hardware...
And what about the AEM CAI MAF scaling for the GR STI?
This is just for the sake of discussion and better understanding. There must be something I don't get.
Measuring proper MAF give proper engine load...
Thanks,
Christian

I wonder if the Cobb SF intake include a wider MAF housing, which would explain the richer MAF scaling figures? I just installed the SF intake on a 08 STi, stock rom & experienced a constant slight hesitation just before hitting positive boost. I tempted to try the scaling figures published earlier hoping it would fix the issue.

Not sure about you guys but that 30% increase in MAF scaling is optimistic considering the size differences
I was told the SF in the name stands for same flow.

If I install the SF intake do I need to adjust the MAF scaling? What other tables should I be looking to modify?

Thank you for the links! Very informative. Quick question: Is it safe to drive with a new intake while you tune MAF Scaling table for CL? What is best practice?
