what do you mean by engine can't start - it's trying to start or it's "complete silence" ?

can you write your old rom back ?

if everything's ok with the original rom on the car you should check all the settings/table values from the MerpMod sections - maybe you have activated by mistake speed density ?

you can use this version of the patch
viewtopic.php?f=37&t=11902

the build I've posted there
(I'm using it and a few other friends with the same AZ1G202G ...)

can you post your rom ? I'm very curious about your VE table.
(mine is very very very ugly - not like any other VE table I've seen posted)

OMG....... you will never had smooth car with table like this...........

why did you change the maf scaling , keep it stock.

rest the L fuel trim, and let someone drive the car smoothly and keep tracking the fuel short trim, and do adjustment accordingly.
the table transaction should be very smooth.

the fact is the car is smooth and everything seems ok...only the VE table aspect is very strange :)

the tool I'm using works quite simple: you copy/paste the VE table, load some logs and the tools calculates the error between the wideband afr and the final fueling base (target afr) and then adjust the VE table accordingly.
after several operations like this the error becomes very small ... and in the end the wideband afr very close to the final fueling base.

I've tried to smooth the table or even to start from a smooth looking tables but if I maintain the smoothness of the table the difference between target afr and wideband afr becomes quite large on some areas ... so I preferred an ugly ve table with the wideband afr I wanted ...but still can't understand how other's table are soo smooth -> do they prefer to let the wideband afr to differ from the target ?

yes, I'm runing on MAF until 5psi/2700rpm, then 50% blending until 10psi/2800rpm and after that full SD, that's why I scaled the VE table columns like that - to have more resolution on the area where I'm on SD
