I'll try and get it on log later today. Just trying reducing cl/ol delay and removed 2 degrees and still got a smooth timing table.
I'll be back

Right sorted it with a little less timing and richend cl a little..
spools a little quicker and a little more aggressive below 3.5k

Sorry for the late reply but I've had to give up on this rom. I was chasing problems and going round in circles. Like removing all cl/ol delays just give bad results ect.
I think the problem was i have a PPP ecu. And I think that there may be too many underlying setting that are different from a standed rom giving me poor results.
One thing that would spring to mind is injector timing table would be different as the PPP map runs a different avcs map than a standed sti rom.
I could use a standed sti rom for my ecu and start again but I'd have to get the nps setting changed again for my 5 speed ect so I've decided to take the PPP map further and so far everything seems to be playing ball now.

but if you've flashed this rom then you don't have the PPP settings anymore so they wouldn't be messing you up mr. It would only be if you tried to copy parts of this rom into your PPP rom that you would get issues.

All of this rom had to be copied onto my rom as I have an '05 ecu. 300G off the top of my head

ahhh - so what I normally do is start with a standard base rom (from the base rom archive on here) and stick all the tables into that never had a bother with it. I know it means copying your tables again but it doesn't take too long.

Unfortunately it's not quite that simple for me. My car is a wrx and i installed a v9 sti engine and ecu last year on a 5 speed box.
Now my nps needed inverting so i had a pro tuner reluctantly do this for me via email. So i can't just use a std sti map in my ecu without inverting the nps.
I did fined the code he changed with a hex map comparison program after he did it but decided to set to work and modify the PPP map due to it looking different and better than any > 04 PPP maps I've seen before, and i'm getting some nice results now I have AFR'S around 11.3

Anyone know if there is a reason why there is two 1.80 load columns with different values in the avcs table?
Looks a little strange

Lol! Well spotted sir! After about 1200 downloads you are the first to point this out. :D

It's an inefficient usage of the table and I'll upload a revised rom.

The rom is still one of the best I've driven, logged and tuned.

Cheers,
Patrick

I take my hat off to you and the others involved in this ROM.

After some time on this and more looking at it in detail i seem to be winning with it, my 5600 to 6000 rpm knock went after opening up avcs by 1/4 degree with no loss in power, instead of removing timing that was making me loose power.

I've been playing with lean spooling for the last 2 week and improved it by 300 rpm, in top gear I was hitting 19psi by 2950 and had to adjust fuelling at 2800rpm 2.50 load because it was never setup to spool so soon.

I hope to post some logs and a map with a lean spool fuelling table in a month or so when I've finish testing.

Patrick can you till me the reason for the higher A/F learning range of 120? Is it to prevent learning from adjusting WOT fuelling?

Hello, to everyone here! I was looking to your rom, and I was wondering if I could flash this rom to my subaru sti 2002 EDM, I compared my map with the original map from where you started tuning and saw only differences in the Knock Control Tables and the 2003's has an additional table in the turbo dynamics category.

My Stock rom is the A4RG060Q. My Car has a catted bellmouth downpipe (200 cells), invidia q300 catback, Grimmspeed Catless Up Pipe and Pipercross panel filter. I already have a map but it's very soft compared to yours here. (I can upload it if you want :) )

I would like to know if it's possible to flash it and if it's safe for my car.
For monitoring I have an AEM Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge and a defi egt aswell, and of course I can attach my laptop.

Sorry for my english. I'm Swiss!

Thanks for any Reply and opinion :D

you can post your rom if you tuned it yourself or if you have the tuners permissions. If you didnt build the map yourself then probably best to take the stock rom for your car and copy these tables into it.

I look forward to seeing what you did to the spool, please share logs too. What gear are you logging in? :)

The answer to your question is yes. :)

Hi and welcome!

You can do, as mentioned above, a copy paste of the changed maps to a copy of your rom. If you value your time you can probably find someone here that can do this for you at a modest cost.

You should also not share work that is not your own here, but there is always the pm function.

Please share logs once you're up and running.

:)
