Hello, i have been trying to find ways to bypass the Immobilizer. I have read many different things that it can be disabled and that it can't be done. I know this is a weird subject and shouldn't be out to the public but if there is a way i would love to know how.
Im in the process of a GC8 swap, the engine is out of an 05 legacy gt but with a 2006 2.5 column. I have the key to the Impreza column but not the legacy. The ECU and harness is out of the legacy and all connected. Just one of those rip your hair out subjects when doing the wiring and not trying to chase your own tail. Fuel pump turns on, but she doesn't fire off.
PM me and ill respond best I can. Thank you

Where are you from ?
ABS\VDC and AT transmission control will be the next problem after the engine being started.

I suspect your EJ20Y ecu needs a long round trip badly.

The engine is the ej255 with the vf40. I just tried to look for a picture of the ECU, with everything on it. Im not sure what you mean by long round trip. And i cant remember the code for the immobilizer but i remember the code having to do with the antenna. Ill have to double check everything when i get home.
