Logger won't connect to ECU but is trying

OK so tried to connect the logger to the ecu this morning to check a couple of things. I've downloaded the ECU definitions but all I get is "connecting" in top right and in lower left something like "can't send to ECU init - check cable is connected and ignition on" - which it is.

It also won't let me select a com port?

Any help please??

What cable are you using?
Submit the rr_system.log if you can. http://www.romraider.com/RomRaider/HowToDebug

Hi I'm using the 2.0 version and read yesterday that you don't need for chose a port, so that problem is solved. I'll have a read through that and try to upload what you've asked.

I've reinstalled the software properly and also the open ecu software to make sure all drivers are properly installed as they may not have been when I switched computer, will update as soon as I try to connect again.

Right got it logging now. Yayyyy.

Now then, how do you log knock? Use Knock correction? That's the only thing I can see, but that is running in degrees, should that be zero (0)? Or am I missing a trick, sorry for some dumb questions, just want to make sure I'm on the right track.

Sorted, I am right in my thinking.

Now just have to figure out why I'm running 100% duty on my injectors.......
