I am having some issues. I'm a bit confused as to where all these definition and base files need to go. There are 3 different Base files, and ecu flash will only pick the one at the top of the list when I have all 3 of them there. I have moved them around a lot trying different things. If I have (CarberryBASE_MAP) in the Bases folder and the (Carberry 4.2_Imperial) file that was in the folder with it, my X axis looks like this: 34.84485954 63.36659529 85.54587048 110.89637595 136.22754465 158.40681984 177.41486475 199.59413994 221.77341513 240.78146004 259.78950495 275.62631958 291.48247098 307.31928561 335.84102136 396.07505991 459.36430812
If I do the opposite with the load based definitions, the load values in the X axis show up normal. If I use the Load determination files, I lose it all. How do I get ECUFlash to use all the definitions together?

you dont use them all together, you use the "load determination" ones to decide if you want MAP or MAF based tables, then remove those definitions and insert either Engine Load or MAP definitions (choose the "base" file then either imperial or metric file to go with it).

Okay, I did just what you said, but my MAP values are still all weird.

if its your first time using the map then yes they will be weird, you have to set them to something just make sure your map is set to the right type (load or MAP) for the definitions your using and then set your tables up and off you go.

So, just manually set them to the values that I want and I'll be good to go? Thank you so much.

I don't think I ever explained how to make the load switch in ecuflash (although it's pretty much the same as in RR) so here goes.
To switch your load axis from MAP to Engine Load or vice verse you need to put the CarberryBASE_Load_Determination.xml definition in the bases folder and the CarberryX.Y_Load_Determination.xml in the Impreza Sti folder. Then open your rom, make the switch, and save your rom.
Afterwards remove the load determination definitions and put in the correct base and Sti definition in your folders and open the rom. The first time you go from MAP to Engine Load, you're going to have small values in your load axis. To verify everything went smoothly, check the "Base Ignition Timing X-Axis Definition Check Byte" Table. Open the help section of that table if you need further explanation. At the time of writing this (newest release Carberry 4.2), this only changes the Base Ignition Timing table's axis. Also make sure you only have one pair of base and sti definitions in your folders at a time.

i have a question.
How do the readiness monitors work. When I use the torque app to view my readiness monitors, they mostly say complete, some say not available and some say incomplete. I noticed on htis rom there are only 4 available monitors and catalyst isnt on of them. It says "unavailable", Is there a definition i could change to make it just say complete?

From what I've read Carberry doesn't work well with obd2 emissions tests. I've always flashed a non carberry rom before smog but you can try messaging Jason to see if adding in full obd2 functionality is a possibility in future updates.

Have a quick question. looking at the x axis for the timing tables, it originally has it set for g/rev but the values are all wrong. so I then it the x axis to psiabsolute and the values look somewhat right looking. Did I set up the definitions files incorrectly in rommetadata? Or Am I selecting the wrong scaling. Thank you

you can choose if you want load based (g/s) or MAP based (psi) values for timing table. Check the base ignition timing X-axis definition check byte table there and see what it says. If it says your LOAD BASED then you need g/s values in for timing load. If it says MAP based then you need PSI values in for your timing axis.

There's one (maybe two? I forgot) cranking tables missing from the ecuflash definitions. I'm going to try to add them and upload new versions this weekend. If anyone has any suggestions or found any errors in the definitions please let me know and I'll try to address them while I'm adding the missing tables.

Hello,
Can someone please explain specifically where all the definitions go and how to use the load determining definitions??
I have used ECUFLash for over 10 years and have tuned 100s of 100s of cars, but cant for the life of me figure pout where each and all of the definition go (still have invalid tables), and cant difure out how to use the "load determination" .xmls
Thanks

EcuFlash will read any file in the default rommetadata directory no matter which sub-folder you put them in. Or you create your own directory of def files and then just tell EcuFlash (in the Options menu) to look in that specific directory.
