Can you add a definition for the 2009 Subaru Impreza 2.5i 4AT?

"cars def not available" means you don't have the cars_def.xml in the folder where the logger def is located, read the first post of this topic for instructions.
The logger def does not have your new ECU in it yet. Watch for a new def by subscribing to the logger topic. http://www.romraider.com/forum/viewtopi ... 42&start=1

I already asked my dealer what is a FIXED gear ration when in MANUAL... but I dont have a reply...

Any other idea how to dyno CVT?:)

I can not load the cars_def file. I have a message at the car selection location - missing cars_def. I added the latest cars_def to the definition location, I even replaced the .dtd file in the program files - it does not work, I can not choose any car. I've reinstalled the romraider. Has anyone met with this?

Here's a couple dyno definitions I created for EJ251 based 2.5rs.. I'm working with a fellow Subaru owner on creating some documentation for tuning NA EJ251s.

GC6 4eat:
Code:
   <car>
      <type>00 USDM Impreza 2.5rs 4AT</type>
      <carmass>2820</carmass>
      <finalratio>4.44</finalratio>
      <rollcoeff>0.015</rollcoeff>
      <dragcoeff>0.33</dragcoeff>
      <frontalarea>22</frontalarea>
      <transmission>automatic</transmission>
      <gearratio1>3.027</gearratio1>
      <gearratio2>1.619</gearratio2>
      <gearratio3>1</gearratio3>
      <gearratio4>0.694</gearratio4>
      <tirewidth>205</tirewidth>
      <tireaspect>55</tireaspect>
      <wheelsize>16</wheelsize>
   </car>

GD6 5mt:
Code:
   <car>
      <type>01 USDM Impreza 2.5rs 5MT</type>
      <carmass>2965</carmass>
      <finalratio>4.11</finalratio>
      <rollcoeff>0.015</rollcoeff>
      <dragcoeff>0.33</dragcoeff>
      <frontalarea>22</frontalarea>
      <transmission>manual</transmission>
      <gearratio1>3.545</gearratio1>
      <gearratio2>2.062</gearratio2>
      <gearratio3>1.448</gearratio3>
      <gearratio4>1.088</gearratio4>
      <gearratio5>0.780</gearratio5>
      <tirewidth>215</tirewidth>
      <tireaspect>60</tireaspect>
      <wheelsize>16</wheelsize>
   </car>

Move both the XML and DTD file into the directory which contains your currently assigned logger.xml file.

I am curious if this will work or if your code is only written to support Subarus

Pulled trans information via

Found coefficients here:
