Hey guys,

So I wanted to see what a stock WRX rom looked like. So a friend of mine has an 02 WRX. I hooked up the test ports, and the flash block (two pin wire by the test mode). I got in test mode, but ECU Flash doesn't read it.

I hear the fans cycling on/off like they are supposed, but no read. In the log on ECU Flash it reads:

Kernel Get Version.

Any ideas?

your waiting too long between key on and hitting READ in ecuflash. try and speed things up between turning the key and hitting read - if you hear the fans then you've waited too long
